Spring Break Build-A-Bike Class



Youth Build-A-Bike Class (Spring Break!)

When: March 20th, March 21st, March 22nd, March 23rd, AND March 24th

Time: 9am-11:30am every day

Where: South Tucson’s John Valenzuela Youth Center, 1550 S. 6th Avenue

Cost: FREE! (Class is limited to only 10 students)

Who: Registration is open to any student in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade

What: This class will cover…
How to fix a flat and change a tire
How to maintain your brakes and chain
Review of bicycle safety
On Friday, the class will take a bike ride to the Bicas bike shop located on 44 W 6th St (Total of 4 miles)

Requirements:
Students must have a signed waiver to participate.
Families must arrange for drop-off and pick-up of their student.
Students may not bring their own bikes to work on. The class will provide a fleet of bikes for students to practice their skills.
